Tax Increment Financing District

Tax Increment Financing provides a tool to finance the cost of private development. Some or all money from new taxes can be redirected from an investment project within the designated district to assist in that project's financing. The City of Presque Isle has established a "Tax Increment Financing District" (3.13 MB PDF File) policy.
